I've spent 17 years inside the creative industry - in corporate marketing, consulting and agency leadership. I know the pace, the pressure, the mental load, and the expectation to keep performing no matter what's happening in the rest of your life.

Then I became a mum. And like so many women in this industry, I ran straight into the gap between what agencies say about supporting parents and what actually happens on the ground. The missed conversations before leave. The clumsy returns. The slow untethering from a career you've spent a decade building.

I started nextphase because that gap is costing the creative industry its best people. 1 in 3 mothers leave agencies within two years of having a child.

I work with agencies to find where their talent is leaking through parenthood, and then build the frameworks, manager capability and direct support to keep them. And I work directly with mums navigating maternity leave, the return, and everything in between - group coaching, 1:1 support and KIT day programmes built around the reality of creative agency life, not a generic corporate template.

I also trained as a pre and postnatal PT, because I believe you can't separate how a parent's body is doing from how they show up at work. Physiology, identity and career are tangled together, and the support has to be too.
